Hilton Head Social Bakery opens in Shelter Cove

Hilton Head Social Bakery is the newest edition to dining options at Shelter Cove Harbour and Marina on Hilton Head Island.

The bakery opened in September across from Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and offers fresh European breads, pastries and desserts.

Run by Chef Philippe Feret, who recently moved to Hilton Head after running his own restaurant on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, the bakery offers American-style baked goods with a French flair. Everything is made on site with TVs inside showing the baked goods being made live in the kitchen. 

The interior features decor from a disassembled a barn from the mid-1800s in upstate New York and outdoor seating offers views of Broad Creek. Items available include croissants, tarts, eclairs, turnovers, crepes and breads.

Located at 17 Harbourside Lane, Suite G, between Scott’s Fish Market and Bistro 17, the bakery is open 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. daily.
