Lose yourself in Jane Austen’s beautiful prose when the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina presents “Pride and Prejudice” from Oct 4 through Oct. 23.

Jon Jory’s fast-faced fresh adaptation of the British classic about life, love and marriage opens Tuesday (preview performance) and will run for 19 performances through Oct. 23.

The timeless love story, set in England in the late 18th century, tells the tale of the Bennet family’s five unmarried daughters and what occurs when a wealthy and eligible man moves into their neighborhood.

Tickets for Tuesday through Thursday preview performances are $37 for adults and $27 for children (5-15).

Full-priced tickets beginning Friday are $47 for adults and $33 for children.
